…from ashes and rubble
We restore forgotten places to their former glory. We have raised historic buildings from ruin not merely out of a desire to own luxury hotels. The history of these places inspires us to create an atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else. Comfortable rooms, a spa, and excellent cuisine are an important part of what we offer. We also care deeply that our guests come to know the history of the places they have chosen for their rest and relaxation.
The name of the Group, as well as that of the first hotel, comes from Richard Anders, who owned the building in Stare Jabłonki before World War II. It was in this very building (pictured on the right in the archival postcard) that Andrzej Dowgiałło opened his first hotel in 1993.
Richard Anders was born in 1856 in Ryn. Coincidentally, Andrzej Dowgiałło was also born in Ryn—though a hundred years later. Around the same time that the palace in Stare Jabłonki was being adapted into a hotel, the timber company Richard Anders Polska was being established in Kańczuga, in the Podkarpackie region.

The Anders Group is the strongest and most recognizable hotel brand in the Warmia and Mazury region, and it continues to grow. Most of its properties are historic buildings. Their operation, renovation, and conservation require special care and significant financial investment.
