What does such a meeting look like, and what can we expect to experience?
The adventure usually begins in the beautiful hotel Library. There, our astronomer will show and tell you what can be spotted in the night sky, introduce you to the history of the Copernican Revolution (after all, we are in the very place where its foundations took shape!), help you understand its consequences, and share many fascinating facts.
If the skies are clear, the astronomer will take us up to the clock tower—home to our small observatory—to show us lunar craters, the phases of Venus, Jupiter’s moons, Saturn’s rings, star colors, star clusters, and perhaps even distant nebulae or galaxies through the telescope. Of course, it all depends on what is currently visible in the sky.
And what if the weather doesn't cooperate? We might find ourselves meeting real visitors from outer space: meteorites. They are truly amazing—many guests leave these sessions filled with a sense of wonder that is quite literally out of this world...
Session duration: up to 1.5 hours
Starting point: The Library
Sessions take place every Saturday at 9:00 PM (excluding special weekends and holidays; during those times, the schedule follows the specific package itinerary).
Admission for hotel guests is free.
Outside of the scheduled times, private sessions can be arranged for an additional fee—please ask at reception for details.
